Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our team. The HR Administrator supports daily HR operations by maintaining accurate employee records, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring compliance with California employment requirements. This role provides responsive employee support, manages documentation and HR workflows, and assists with benefits and payroll inputs. At Jason Markk, the HR Administrator helps create a clear, organized, and people‑first experience that keeps our team informed, supported, and aligned with our culture and standards.
What You Will Do
- Serve as the primary HR contact and liaison with our PEO for payroll, benefits, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
- Maintain employee records, policies, and org charts.
- Support performance reviews, engagement initiatives, and team‑building.
- Oversee day‑to‑day office operations, supplies, vendors, and facilities.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and occasional travel.
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and leadership team.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of HR, office administration, or related experience.
- Experience with a PEO (strongly preferred).
- Must have working knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices.
- Strong communication, organization skills, and confidentiality minded.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Slack, and HRIS platforms.
