Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, including flatbeds.
- Non touch freight, moving from one yard to another
- Comply fully with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and hazardous materials regulations when applicable.
- Handle logistics cargo with care following all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure trucks are in optimal condition for daily operations.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, especially within local delivery routes.
- Proficiency in driving manual transmission trucks and operating various trailer types such as a flatbed. Will train on the flatbed if needed.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT standards, hazardous materials handling, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude when interacting with customers and team members.
