Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Painter Man or Woman to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Wallcovering and painting expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure durable finishes that meet client specifications. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Execute precise interior and exterior painting using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other industry-standard methods.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings helpful not nessasary schemes based on color theory principles.
- Perform specialized tasks such as stucco application, masonry work, drywall finishing, fixture installation, and trim carpentry to support comprehensive renovation efforts.
- Conduct surface repairs including restoration work on existing structures and framing or carpentry adjustments as needed.
- Apply industrial or construction-specific paints for large-scale projects while adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to estimate material needs using construction estimating techniques and ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, construction painting, or industrial painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings; familiarity with construction schematics is essential.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools (brushes, rollers), power tools (sanders, drills), airless paint sprayers, welding equipment, and other relevant tools of the trade.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes combined with basic math skills for accurate measurement and material calculation.
- Hands-on experience with plastering, caulking, stucco application, masonry work, restoration projects, and fixture installation.
- Ability to work safely on construction sites while following OSHA standards; previous construction site experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of color theory for effective color matching and aesthetic consistency across projects.
- Additional skills such as carpentry (trim framing), handyman experience, concrete finishing, remodeling expertise, welding capabilities, or maintenance background are advantageous. Pay: $23.50 - $35.50 per hour
