Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus, answer questions, and make recommendations on food and beverages
- Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen staff promptly
- Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on them throughout their meal and promptly addressing any concerns or requests
- Process payments accurately using POS system or cash register
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and accurate order delivery
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including tables, chairs, and dining room
- Assist with food preparation as needed
- clean tables, and prep for next customers
- Take To-go phone orders, and pack them.
- clean dine in areas.
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Server in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Mediterranean food , including menu items and ingredients
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs
- Proficient in time management to ensure efficient service during busy periods
- Basic math skills for accurately processing payments and making change
