Duties
- Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments while adhering to the latest trends and techniques.
- Apply knowledge of color theory to achieve desired results for clients.
- Perform nail care services as needed, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
- Offer hair extensions services, demonstrating expertise in application techniques.
- Mentor junior stylists or apprentices by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair styling.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
- Utilize straight razor techniques for precision cuts when required.
- Provide hair threading services as an additional offering to clients.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
- Knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and sanitation.
- Experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills in mentoring others will be considered an asset.
