drivers.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role based in Bowling Green, KY. The driver will operate commercial vehicles to transport goods safely and on schedule, following all federal, state, and local regulations. Daily tasks include performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating with dispatch regarding routes, delivery times, and any issues on the road. The role involves driving regional or long-haul routes as assigned, adhering to company safety policies, and representing Jasar Inc. professionally at customer locations. The driver will also report maintenance needs, support efficient loading and unloading processes, and contribute to a positive, safety-focused workplace.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record and compliance with all DOT requirements.
- Proven experience operating commercial trucks, including safe driving practices and familiarity with ELDs and logkeeping.
- Strong understanding of road safety, cargo securement, and applicable transportation regulations.
- Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Reliable time management skills and the ability to follow assigned routes and schedules.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading assistance when needed and to work in varying weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in freight or logistics is a plus.
