Lean Manufacturing Operations Manager
Scope:
This position is a full time direct hire onsite role in the Syracuse, NY area. This position offers a salary range between 100k - 135k, dependent on a number of factors and candidate experience. Position is eligible for additional incentive based annual compensation, full medical/health benefits/401k and associate fringe benefits.
Scope:
- Responsible for the development and implementation of Lean Manufacturing goals and policies in a continuous effort to improve operations and processes
- Review site organization structure and ensure all resources are aligned for Lean Transformation
- Manage team of direct reports as primary Operations Manager, ensuring employee development and growth is front of mind.
- Drive improvements in quality, delivery/lead time, and operational efficiencies
- Serve as primary point of contact for training and coaching on a day-to-day basis
- Provide technical and operational recommendations for meeting and exceeding productivity, product quality, material control and customer service across all facilities
- Work closely with site leadership on implementation using Lean Systems as the principal tool for guiding the initiatives
- Bachelors in Engineering, Business, or equivalent highly preferred
- 5 years minimum experience in manufacturing management with several years of prior people-management experience.
- Experience developing/maintaining a Lean Manufacturing production environment
- Experience in an ISO certified manufacturing facility highly preferred
- Analytical report writing & problem-solving skills
