Director of AI

Position Summary:

We are seeking a forward-thinking, results-driven Director of AI to lead the organization into its next phase of digital innovation. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for someone who can see beyond the technology itself and identify how AI, data, and emerging digital solutions can fundamentally improve the way a business operates, serves its customers, and creates value.

In this role, you will shape and execute the organization’s digital transformation strategy, identifying opportunities to leverage AI, machine learning, data analytics, automation, and emerging technologies to solve complex business challenges and drive measurable results. You will lead high-visibility, enterprise-wide initiatives from strategy through implementation, partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to turn innovative ideas into scalable solutions.

This role will also play a critical part in driving organizational adoption and change, ensuring new AI and digital capabilities are not only implemented but effectively integrated into the business. The successful candidate will bring strong stakeholder management and communication skills, an understanding of change management, and a thoughtful approach to governance, compliance, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in IT/Digital roles, with significant experience in a leadership position overseeing digital transformation or AI projects.
• Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, data analytics, and other emerging digital technologies leveraged in manufacturing or services industries.
  
  

Scope:

• Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of digital experts, data scientists, and engineers.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive digital transformation strategy with strong emphasis on AI.
• Oversee the entire lifecycle of digital and AI projects, from conception to deployment and scaling.
• Define and track key performance indicators to measure the impact and ROI of initiatives.
• Drive the adoption of AI-powered solutions to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and create new revenue streams.
  
  

This position offers full time permanent employment, with a general salary range between $150k - $200k, position may be eligible for additional incentive compensation. Position is eligible for full benefits including health care, paid time off, sick time, and any local or federal regulations. Position offers a hybrid work environment. Due to contractual obligations, candidates must be US citizens or green card holders to be considered for this position.
