What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Key Account Director (KAD) – North America (Remote / US-Based) position at Jarsking Packaging?
Jarsking is a premier, rapidly expanding global provider of high-end primary packaging solutions for the skincare, color cosmetics, and fragrance industries. By seamlessly bridging our world-class, high-capacity manufacturing facilities in China with leading-edge engineering, we are globally recognized for our speed-to-market, ultra-fast 3D prototyping, and agile custom tooling capabilities. We specialize in delivering premium and sustainable packaging architectures (including PCR, refillable glass, and high-precision dispensing systems) that empower the world's most iconic beauty brands.
As we aggressively scale our localized commercial presence across North America, we are seeking a visionary, entrepreneurial, and hunter-minded Regional Key Account Director (KAD) to own, disrupt, and scale our premium brand partnerships in the US market.
As the Regional Key Account Director (North America), you will be the commercial spearhead and strategic face of Jarsking in the United States. Operating in a high-autonomy, remote model, you will own the entire sales lifecycle—from hunting high-value RFQs to securing long-term Master Service Agreements (MSAs) with prestige beauty giants, masstige powerhouses, and fast-growing indie beauty icons. You will act as the vital strategic bridge between US brand requirements and our highly responsive, fast-paced back-end engineering teams in Asia.
- Market Disruption & Growth: Develop and execute aggressive commercial strategies to capture market share in North America, consistently hitting and exceeding annual revenue and margin goals.
- Enterprise Relationship Architecture: Target and close high-value business opportunities within major US beauty hubs (NYC, LA, Miami), serving as the senior point of contact for procurement directors, packaging developers, and brand founders.
- Technical Consultation & Innovation: Pitch Jarsking's custom mold capabilities, bespoke glass bottle designs, and advanced dispensing mechanisms with deep technical and commercial rigor.
- Commercial & Margin Mastery: Own and negotiate joint business plans, pricing/discount matrices, and contract terms to ensure maximum gross-to-net margin protection and working capital optimization.
- Cross-Functional Bridge: Partner closely with internal project development, design, and manufacturing teams in China to ensure custom tools and premium packaging are delivered on time, within budget, and to exact technical specifications.
- Sustainability Leadership: Leverage Jarsking’s sustainable packaging capabilities (PCR, refillables) to position the company as a key transition partner for US brands aligning with modern eco-regulations and consumer demands.
- Experience: 8–12 years of progressive commercial sales or executive account management experience strictly within the B2B cosmetics, beauty, or primary packaging industry. A proven track record of winning multi-million dollar RFQs with major US beauty houses is non-negotiable.
- The Rolodex: An active, well-established network of procurement decision-makers, packaging engineers, and product developers within premium US beauty brands and leading indie beauty conglomerates.
- Technical Acumen: Solid structural understanding of primary beauty packaging (glass manufacturing, custom injection molding, pump/sprayer mechanics, compatibility testing).
- Business Intelligence: Sharp financial acumen with deep experience in P&L tracking, demand forecasting, competitive pricing analysis, and margin management.
- Soft Skills: An unyielding entrepreneurial "hunter" mindset. Culturally adaptive, exceptionally resilient, and fully comfortable working independently in a remote structure while aligning with the high-speed execution of a Chinese manufacturing engine.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Packaging Engineering, International Business, or related fields preferred.
- A highly competitive base salary tailored to the US executive market, supplemented by an aggressive, uncapped performance-based commission/bonus structure.
- Complete strategic runway and high autonomy to act as a business builder in North America, backed by a global manufacturing powerhouse.
- Comprehensive remote benefits (including health, flexible PTO, and home office stipends) via our global EoR (Employer of Record) framework.
- Direct collaboration with global leadership, with a clear trajectory to build and lead the North American commercial team as the region scales.
