Job Summary
Stash House by JARS is looking for friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Store Associates to join our team. As a Retail Store Associate, you'll be the face of the store-providing outstanding customer service, supporting daily operations, and creating a welcoming shopping experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicates well, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with product selection
• Operate POS systems, including cash handling and card transactions
• Upsell products and suggest complementary items to enhance the customer experience
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing merchandise displays
• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and assist with stock management
• Answer customer questions and resolve concerns in a timely, professional manner
• Perform basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions and inventory counts
• Maintain store cleanliness and follow all safety standards
• Support supervisors and team members during high-traffic periods

Requirements

• Previous smoke shop or specialty retail experience preferred
• Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic retail math
• Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• 18 years old
• Knowledge of merchandising, stocking, and retail sales best practices
• Friendly, dependable, and customer-service driven attitude
