What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advancement Administrative Coordinator position at JARC Florida?

SUMMARY:

This position is responsible to serve as primary individual for data input into Donor Perfect and gratitude to donors. In addition, this individual will actively assist in the identification, cultivation and solicitation of donors and volunteer tasks including staffing, scheduling, and preparing supplies and materials for events and activities for the Advancement team and the CEO/COO.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES including other job-related duties as required:


  • Promote the Mission of JARC.
  • Conduct oneself in accordance with JARC core values
  • Provide administrative support for all development and volunteer activities
  • Primary individual responsible for entering and maintaining Donor Perfect data base including updating and deleting files, verify and correct existing data, linking donor account records and creating new accounts as needed
  • Manage and facilitate gift solicitations by identifying and engaging new donors and leadership
  • Primary individual to conduct and facilitate donor gratitude program including acknowledgment letters and phone calls
  • Provide administrative support to the CEO/COO
  • Serves as primary resource for distribution of required Donor Perfect reports, information, and file access
  • Comply with data integrity and security policies and procedures
  • Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position has no supervisory responsibilities and must possess the ability to independently under pressure and maintain confidentiality.


QUALIFICATIONS:

TRAINING

Attend a minimum of 8 hours of training each year. Supervisor may recommend additional training to improve skills in employee’s particular field. Maintain current certifications as required.

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


 

COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to use Microsoft Office, familiarity with donor data base software (preferably Donor Perfect), strong keyboard and data entry skills and speed.

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Strong communication skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from directors, public groups, and families.


REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables, planning and organizing, strong decision-making skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.


CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: As required by State Regulations.


 PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands; reach with arms; stand, walk and sit; talk, and hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop or kneel; to lift and/or move up to 10-15 pounds, and if necessary, in an emergency move or drag and adult in order to ensure the individual’s safety. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
