JARC, a non-profit organization located in Boca Raton, Florida is searching for a Chief Operating Officer to join our team. JARC's focus is to bring purpose, dignity and a sense of belonging to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As the COO you will be responsible for fostering a performance-driven culture that aligns JARC’s operations with its strategic goals and advances the organization toward realizing its vision.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Act in the absence of the CEO as needed.
- Develop sound management tools and procedures consistent with JARC program needs.
- Supervise hiring, training, and performance of staff, most often through subordinate supervisors.
- Supervise development of job descriptions consistent with the organizational structure of JARC.
- Coordinate all information technology strategies.
- Supervise fiscal operation including audit, monthly reporting and fund disbursement.
- Supervise residential operation, compliance, and client services.
- Assist with implementation of strategic plan.
- Facilitate organization of various committees as needed and participate in meetings as required.
- Oversee business operations including programs and services.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred in business, human services or related field .
- Minimum of 5 years related experience and/or training.
- In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Exceptional leadership, communication verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to achieve results and maintain pace on strategic projects ensuring key deadlines are met.
