MONDAY-FRIDAY 6am-2:30pm or MONDAY-THURSDAY 1pm-11:30pm Shifts Available

Basic personal computer skills that include the ability to send/receive e-mail messages.
May be required to operate Computer, Email, Microsoft Excel, Printer, Copier, Fax Machine, Telephone, Scanner, and calculator, micrometers and gages, power tools, hand tools, forklifts and pallet jacks.

Essential Job Functions
- Access and run existing programs and edit as necessary.
- Work from operational orders and/or parts drawings and make necessary tool, speed and feed changes to accommodate varying size and configuration of parts.
- Read and interpret measuring devices
- Set up and operate turret/chucking lathes and turn/bore various size diameters and holes
- Diagnose problems encountered in making set ups and running production to determine corrective action
- Obtain first piece inspection approval and periodically visually inspect and/or gauge work for quality appearance and dimensional accuracy
- Follow quality control standards to ensure meeting quality and quantity requirements
- Maintain coolant, oils and hydraulic fluids, and monitor performance as instructed
- Monitor wear of consumable tools and notify supervisor as required
- Accurately report work performed
- Keep work area neat and orderly and follow all safe work practice requirements
- Maintain identification of all parts and materials and record location of same
- Report abnormal machine operating conditions immediately
- Perform daily forklift inspections
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required and 2 years CNC experience strongly desired.
- Possess and practice good oral and written communication skills.
- Treat fellow co-workers with dignity and respect.
- Possess and utilize basic math skills and exercise superior organizational skills
- Prior Robotic Experience a plus
- Maintain and exhibit a positive attitude toward our work and our work environment.
- Participate in training events (ie; Lockout/Tagout; HazCom; and overhead crane training)
