What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bread Baker, Pastry Baker position at Japantown Baking Cpmpany?
Bread baker will prepare, mix, shape and bake various breads and doughs with emphasis on quality and consistency. This baker is responsible for monitoring oven temperatures, maintaining hygiene and cleanliness in the bakery, and will work early mornings to fulfill daily production. Physical stamina is required as baker will be lifting heavy doughs and working on his/her feet most of the day. Knowledge of baking techniques and food safety is a must. Minimum one year baking experience in a commercial bakery required.
