About the Event
Join our team supporting JAPAN Fes, where we'll be running a ramen/Japanese food booth serving ramen/gyoza/Karaage and etc... to festival attendees.
Pay: $20/hour - paid on the day of via cash
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders and process payments at the booth
- Assist with food prep, plating, and serving (ramen assembly, garnishing, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workstation
- Restock ingredients and supplies during service
- Communicate with kitchen/prep staff to manage order flow
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service during high-volume periods
- Assist with booth setup and breakdown
Requirements
- Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced food service environment
- Prior food service, cashier, or kitchen experience a plus (not required)
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak rush times
- Food handler's certificate a plus (or willingness to obtain one before the event, if required by NY law)
Pay: $20.00 per hour
