Position Description:
Responsible for coordinating and managing the Japan Wizards Competition, Japan Day program, the Hiroshima Peace Scholar Program, Asian Pacific Children’s Convention Program and various exchange programs. Coordination tasks include, but not limited to, venue coordination, project write-ups, identifying tasks, project needs and recommendations, and cost expectations. Recruit, train and retain volunteers that support these events. Coordinate social media communications and other materials to increase awareness and visibility of JASH’s educational programs for its members and teachers statewide. Grant writing, tracking of grants and final grant reports for educational programs. Develop and track measurement tools to evaluate program outputs and outcomes, including identifying project objectives, preparing surveys, and distributing evaluation materials. Compile final reports on all events and activities, including event summaries, final costs, participation, and evaluation and other outputs and outcomes.
Salary : $45,000 - $52,000
