Operations Support Specialist

Supporting PM C2 Transport

Location: APG, MD

Security Clearance: Secret

Education Requirement: High School Diploma

Experience Requirement: Minimum of 8 years of providing operations support to DoD/PEO/PM organizations

Certifications: Office 365 certifications; SharePoint certification (preferred)

Salary: 75K-130K Annual; Commensurate with Education/Experience


Position Overview:

The Operations Support Specialist, Intermediate II, is responsible for performing a wide range of analytical and administrative duties that support the organization. This role requires extensive experience in operations support, particularly within Department of Defense (DoD) or Program Executive Office (PEO) settings.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Analytical & Administrative Support:
    • Assist in various analytical and administrative tasks to support organizational objectives.
    • Manage staffing and track internal and external correspondence.
  • Process Management:
    • Possess knowledge of planning, risk management, and program analysis.
    • Track and ensure timely responses to all tasks received across the organization.
    • Assist in defining and documenting processes as standard operating procedures.
  • Collaboration & Communication:
    • Collaborate internally and externally, providing advice and support to leadership and program managers.
    • Advise higher-level staff on assigned programs, briefing preparation, and objectives.
  • Project Management:
    • Support detailed planning for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
    • Provide support for risk analysis and track cost, schedule, and performance of projects and programs.
  • Policy Development:
    • Initiate, develop, revise, and recommend policies, plans, and procedures under senior staff guidance.
    • Identify existing or potential problem areas within operations and recommend corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of operations support experience in DoD/PEO/PM organizations.
  • Office 365 and SharePoint certifications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
