- Manage and track all bid opportunities (new and re-bids), maintaining accurate schedules, due dates, and organized bid files.
- Coordinate bid plans, revisions, addenda, and re-bid documentation with Drafting, providing written summaries of scope or plan changes as needed.
- Support estimators with bid allocation, bid sheet updates, basic quantity takeoffs, scope reviews, and minor estimating tasks.
- Prepare and maintain accurate bid proposals and documentation using standard MS Excel templates.
- Obtain, organize, and track vendor and supplier quotes (including PEMB and decking) to meet bid deadlines.
- Collaborate with Sales, estimators, and project teams to ensure complete documentation, post-award setup, and successful project execution.
- Other duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
- Entry level to two years of experience in construction, estimating support, or administrative roles preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong emphasis on Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications preferred.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow in the construction estimating field.
- Proficient computer skills required: Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio. AutoCAD is preferred but not required.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
