Marketing Specialist

JANUS et Cie, a leader in luxury outdoor furniture, is seeking a Digital Marketing & Social Media Specialist to elevate our digital presence and strengthen our connection with clients and design professionals worldwide.

In this role, you’ll plan and execute our social media and email marketing initiatives. Develop compelling content, oversee campaigns, and analyze performance to drive growth and engagement. This is a remote role with occasional meetings in our Carpinteria, CA and Santa Fe Springs, CA offices.

Hourly Range: $30-$32 DOE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management of all JANUS et Cie social platforms and profiles
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with brand and Marketing goals; to include content planning, calendar development, caption writing, creation of inspirational Pinterest boards, and continuous research on best practices
• Training Sales team on socials and MailChimp; included development of training materials and frequent one-on-one training sessions
• Social media inbox, community, and Sales Instagram account monitoring
• Digital marketing analytics and reporting

• Manage MailChimp platform, list management and campaign calendar
• Create and design corporate, event, product launch, and Sales-driven campaigns with consistent branding
• Develop graphics, templates, subject lines, and landing pages
• Track and analyze campaign performance with UTM management and reporting
• Manage audience lists, ensure compliance, and support data integration with IT
• Provide training for Sales reps on campaign use and analytics
• Maintain campaign records and ensure timely access to assets
• Assist with presentations and PowerPoint formatting
• Coordinate and provide live coverage for trade shows and events
• Manage the marketing inbox and support Sales requests
• Use design and editing software (InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Rush) for graphics and video content
• Offer flexible support across marketing projects as needed

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

• Supports Marketing colleagues; interacts with Sales, I.T./Technology teams, Product Management and outside vendors

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 experience in campaign production and corporate social media outreach (as opposed to personal)
• Experience in MailChimp or similar platform
• Experience managing social media (mainly Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Facebook)
• BA Marketing or similar
• Some understanding of branding and design
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
