Senior Staff Accountant
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing team! This role will play a key part in managing core accounting functions, supporting financial reporting, and helping drive efficient month-end and year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Assist with audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation
- Review accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll entries as needed
- Identify and recommend process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and management on financial reporting needs
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
