Janitorial Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Janitorial Worker to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. This role involves performing various cleaning and custodial tasks to ensure a hygienic, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential cleaning, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service. Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Conduct detailed cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, floor polishers, and vacuums
• Maintain floors through buffing, stripping, waxing, and other floor care procedures
• Assist with custodial tasks related to industrial or commercial cleaning projects
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet health and safety standards

Experience

• Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred, especially in commercial or industrial settings
• Experience with floor care techniques such as buffing, stripping, and waxing is advantageous
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and upkeep
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing assigned tasks efficiently

Job Type: Part-time
