Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Handle waste disposal and recycling according to established procedures.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed, including light repairs and custodial support.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
Skills
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and products for various surfaces.
- Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning standards.
