Job Summary:
The Human Resources Assistant provides essential administrative support to the HR department, including processing documentation, generating reports, and coordinating schedules. This role also works with the Business Development Manager to develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all items produced.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, meetings, and appointments.
- Proofread and prepare departmental documents and correspondence.
- Process employment-related paperwork, including onboarding and offboarding.
- Create, maintain and update company-wide Standard Operating Procedures.
- Generate and manage HR-related reports.
- Monitor and document compliance
- Oversee the recruiting process for production employees.
- Assist with recruiting and hiring for all other company positions.
- Conduct background checks and verify employment eligibility.
- Support the administration of HR programs and initiatives.
- Respond to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
