What are the responsibilities and job description for the Horizontal CNC Setup/Operator - Janesville - 1st Shift position at Janesville Tool and Manufacturing?
Experienced horizontal machinist needed for plant. Candidate will be required to setup and run multiple horizontal CNC machinery to produce parts for our product line. Ability to operate Haas CNC and Fanuc controls is a must. In addition, applicant must also be able to operate manual surface grinder, Bridgeport mill, and inspect work completed using precision measuring devises. Machinist must be able to hold close tolerances and work closely with our engineering department. Person will work with a variety of materials including tool steel, hard steel, aluminum, cast iron and steel.
- Machinist to setup and create precision parts.
- Ability to read complex prints.
- Ability to inspect your work using calipers, bore gages, height gages and micrometers.
- Ability to run multiple machines at one time.
- Knowledge of machining processes and ability to G & M code program.
Job Requirements
- 3 – 5 years’ experience in machining.
- Must have excellent organizational skills.
- Must have good communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
