Janessa Leoné is seeking a Wholesale Sales Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for driving wholesale sales growth while owning the end-to-end wholesale sales process—from account development and seasonal selling through order fulfillment, ensuring a seamless experience for both our retail partners and internal teams.
The Wholesale Sales Manager will manage key wholesale accounts, oversee sales operations and order lifecycle processes, and work cross-functionally across the company. This is a full-time role based at our Los Angeles headquarters with a flexible hybrid in-office/remote work environment. The role requires a minimum of 40 hours per week, at least two days per week in-office, and travel as needed for sales meetings, markets, and account support.
What You’ll Do
Wholesale Sales & Account Management
- Own and manage wholesale accounts from initial sales presentations through order fulfillment,, acting as the primary point of contact and accountability for assigned accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with retail partners, providing customized product recommendations and insights on styles and categories that perform well for each account
- Seek out and develop new wholesale opportunities, including expansion within existing accounts and growth of new product categories
- Close seasonal bookings, upload all orders accurately and on time, and send final order confirmations to accounts by established deadlines
Sales Operations & Order Lifecycle
- Oversee the full wholesale order lifecycle, including order entry, confirmations, shipping coordination, returns/swaps, consignment, and delivery follow-up
- Maintain proficiency in the ERP and B2B wholesale platform to manage daily operations, including order processing, inventory tracking, account records, pricing updates, and product uploads
- Partner with Accounting to monitor invoicing and payment status; proactively follow up on outstanding balances and escalate risks as needed
- Adhere to established pricing, margin, and payment term guidelines, escalating exceptions for approval when necessary
- Coordinate with the 3PL warehouse and internal operations teams to schedule, track, and troubleshoot shipments and inventory issues
- Ensure adherence to wholesale critical paths, shipping windows, and market timelines
Reporting, Forecasting & Cross-Functional Support
- Support the COO with wholesale forecasts, including account-level sell-through analysis, reorder opportunities, and risk identification
- Prepare and maintain sales analysis and reporting, including sell-through, shipping reports, and marketing recaps
- Provide insights and recommendations to internal teams to support planning, production, and inventory decisions
Market, Showroom & Brand Support
- Assist with showroom organization, including sample management, market appointments, bookings, follow-ups, and post-appointment communications
- Deliver a high level of customer service via email, phone, virtual meetings, and in-person appointments
- Support wholesale partner needs with product knowledge, visual assets, PR updates, brand materials, and product information
- Monitor online wholesale partner sites to ensure brand representation, accurate product information, and strong visual execution
- Assist with wholesale marketing initiatives, including newsletters, digital assets, and sample or gifting requests
- Support store visits, trunk shows, brand training, pop-ups, sample sales, and retail store openings as needed
Who You Are
- Previous wholesale sales experience within the luxury fashion or premium accessories space
- Strong interest in luxury retail, sales, and customer service
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales and sell-through data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident working with internal teams and external partners
- Proactive, accountable, and solutions-oriented mindset
- Computer-literate with experience using Mac, Google Drive, and wholesale systems (ERP, B2B platforms)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client meetings as needed
