Job Description

Janessa Leone is seeking a Seasonal Part-Time Retail Sales & Stock Associate to join our growing retail team. This person will have a deep passion for offering exceptional retail experiences. The role will support day-to-day operations to ensure an excellent experience for our customers. Working collaboratively with team members, the Retail Sales & Stock Associate will support retail operations, inventory, product assortment, virtual appointments, visual merchandising and customer service. As a brand ambassador, you will be responsible for creating a best in class customer experience.

This role is based in Culver City, CA at our retail store.

What You'll Do

• Present and sell products to clients by providing product and brand information, and transacting sales via POS. Meet and exceed sales targets and key metrics for the Janessa Leoné Montecito store set by the store manager.
• Support omni channel sales for our community via retail floor, phone, email and text outreach clienteling. Provides excellent customer service by greeting and engaging clients.  
• Support with store inventory deliveries, receiving, unpacking, and preparing merchandise for the selling floor. Help support the stockroom and off-site storage organization.
• Uphold consistent inventory accuracy and controls in stores through weekly/monthly counts.
• Support the Store Manager and provide any input to monthly reports with qualitative and quantitative results to creatively address challenges. 
• Develop and deliver a thoughtful, hands-on memorable customer experience for all customers and Janessa Leoné clients. Grow, manage and nurture your own personal Janessa Leoné client list. 
• Support the retail manager in maintaining strong client relationships for the store.  
• Host virtual and in-person stylist appointments, focused on increasing customer satisfaction and driving sales, especially among new customers.
• Support the Janessa Leoné customer service team as needed, to respond to customer email and phone inquiries. Support the Store Manager with operational objectives and day to day management of the store including visual merchandising and inventory levels. 
• Uphold a cheerful collaborative and work environment by fostering the Janessa Leoné team culture with the retail team.
• Support the Store Manager by implementing visual directives and standards for displays across the Janessa Leoné stores and pop-up’s. Support the maintenance of visual merchandising standards to reflect the high quality of our product.
• When required, attend staff meetings and training sessions with the Janessa Leone team, contribute ideas to marketing plans and provide valuable feedback to help guide the direction of future collections and strategies.  

Who You Are:

• At least 1 year of retail sales experience handling high-end goods and clientele oriented sales
• A flexible schedule that matches the needs of a fast-paced retail environment (work on weekends and holidays)
• Excellent customer service skills and a track-record driving sales
• Motivated self starter with a positive can do attitude
• Strong attention to detail 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills and have a thoughtful friendly writing style 
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent under pressure and can adapt quickly in an ever-evolving environment
• Passion for fashion
• Experience with Shopify POS is a plus 
• Hourly rate: $20 to $22.50
