Front Desk Receptionist
JanCare Private Health Services is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and proactive
Front Desk Receptionist to support daily office operations. This role is vital to maintaining an organized, welcoming, and efficient office environment. The ideal candidate has prior healthcare experience, strong attention to detail, takes initiative, and is willing to assist across all office functions as needed.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls professionally and courteously
- Greet clients, visitors, and staff in a warm and friendly manner
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and common areas
- Monitor and organize intake information to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Perform data entry and administrative support for the CEO and other leadership roles
- Organize and schedule appointments; coordinate meetings and take detailed minutes
- Maintain office inventory, organize supplies, and restock as needed
- Proactively identify office needs and take initiative to address them
- Assist with all office roles as needed to support smooth daily operations
- Water office plants and help maintain a professional office appearance
- Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and deliveries
- Perform administrative duties including filing, photocopying, faxing, and transcribing
- Operate standard office equipment (computer, copier, fax machine, etc.)
- Assist with office events, meetings, and conferences as needed
- Run errands for clients and staff as assigned, using a company vehicle
- Function effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Takes initiative and works independently when needed
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate with the ability to learn new systems
- Professional phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills
- Works well with all team members and leadership
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required

- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM – 5:00 PM
