SUMMARY
The Frac Operator supports field operations at both the well site and the operating base. This includes safely operating and driving company equipment and providing high‑quality service and technical support to customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Frac Operator assists in daily field operations, supports rig‑in/rig‑out activities, monitors equipment, completes preventative maintenance, and ensures all safety procedures are followed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Knowledge of fracking procedures and water treatment needs
- Work independently and make technical decisions
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with computer applications
- Handle hazardous chemicals and utilize proper PPE
- Operate and drive company trucks and equipment
- Assist with pre‑job procedures and safety meetings
- Understand rig‑in specifications and rigging operations
- Prepare downhole equipment and assist with maintenance
- Monitor equipment and job progress
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Complete all field documentation accurately
- Maintain equipment and PPE
- Inspect trucks pre‑ and post‑trip
- Follow and promote safety standards
- Report hazards, incidents, injuries
- Attend required Safety and Operations meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Pass background check, drug screen, physical assessment
- Read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Meet required competency standards
- 1 years oilfield service experience (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Knowledge of MSDS, TDG, PPE
- Team‑oriented with strong customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Strong safety awareness
- Ability to work variable schedules as needed
