Responsibilities
- Lead diverse group fitness classes including yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, and dance-based workouts with enthusiasm and clear instruction
- Develop tailored workout plans that incorporate principles of physiology, body mechanics, anatomy, and program design to meet individual needs
- Educate participants on proper technique, safety procedures, and the benefits of physical activity to maximize results and prevent injury
- Motivate members by creating an energetic atmosphere that encourages participation and persistence in their fitness routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming gym environment by adhering to health and safety standards at all times
- Promote membership sales by effectively communicating the value of various fitness programs and personal training services
- Stay current with industry trends and continuously enhance your skills through ongoing education in areas such as sports coaching, health club management, or specialized training certifications
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a fitness instructor or personal trainer with knowledge of group fitness programming
- Certification or strong familiarity with yoga instruction; additional expertise in Pilates, CrossFit, cycling or sports coaching is a plus
- Solid understanding of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and program design principles
- Ability to teach multiple disciplines such as dance-based workouts or functional training with clarity and enthusiasm
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct diverse groups and foster a motivating environment
- Passion for health and wellness with a commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Relevant certifications in fitness sales or gym management are advantageous but not required
