Nursing Supervisor

• Schedule:

Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Flu Vaccine Declination or Medical/Religious Exemptions Accepted (mask required if exempted)

• The Role:

As the Nursing Supervisor, you’ll oversee and coordinate care for residents within a skilled nursing environment, ensuring each patient receives exceptional, compassionate treatment. You’ll lead a dynamic team of RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, driving collaboration, accountability, and quality outcomes.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support nursing staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality care.
• Manage daily operations, staffing, and patient assignments during overnight shifts.
• Serve as the clinical point of contact for urgent concerns, ensuring quick and effective resolutions.
• Promote teamwork and communication between nurses, physicians, and administrative staff.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and safety standards.
• Foster a positive and motivating work environment that aligns with Vitality’s values of integrity, excellence, and care.
• Requirements:
• Active RN License (New York State)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience
• BLS (American Heart Association)

Preferred:

• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care
• Proven ability to manage high-acuity patient needs with professionalism and empathy
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and decision-making skills

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
