Summer 2026 Marketing & Content Creation Intern

Jamtik Marketing is looking for an amazing, organized, and creative summer intern to support our client work across a variety of industries.

Jamtik is a women-owned, boutique digital marketing and content creation studio based in Chicago. We specialize in social media strategy, creative content production, and brand storytelling for small businesses, community-focused organizations, and growing brands.

We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern eager to learn the ins and outs of agency life. This role is a great fit for a student or recent grad interested in digital marketing, social media, content creation, photography, video, and creative strategy.

This is a hybrid/remote role, but we are looking for someone local to the Chicago area, as we regularly support client content shoots in person.

As a Marketing & Content Creation Intern, you’ll support the Jamtik team with a mix of creative, strategic, and administrative tasks, including:

• Assisting with social media content creation, including photos, graphics, Reels, TikToks, and short-form videos
• Helping schedule and publish content using social media management tools
• Supporting basic video editing for Reels, TikToks, promotional videos, and client content
• Participating in brainstorming sessions and creative planning
• Helping organize content libraries, client assets, and project files
• Assisting with research, shoot planning, scheduling, and reporting
• Learning about social media strategy, analytics, campaign planning, and agency workflows
• Supporting client content shoots in the Chicago area as needed

You might be a great fit if you are:

• A student or recent graduate interested in marketing, communications, media, social media, or content creation
• Creative, curious, organized, and excited to learn
• Comfortable using Canva, Google Suite, Slack, Asana, and basic editing tools like CapCut, Edits, or similar platforms
• A strong communicator who can manage details and deadlines
• Adaptable and willing to jump in wherever needed
• Local to the Chicago area and available for occasional in-person content shoots
• Bonus: You have experience with photography, video, social media management, or content creation

This paid internship offers hands-on experience with a small but mighty creative team. You’ll get exposure to real client projects, content shoots, social media planning, creative production, and the day-to-day operations of a boutique marketing studio.

You’ll leave with a stronger understanding of social media strategy, digital marketing, creative content production, and what it’s like to work inside a small agency.
