Jampack is on a mission to make wholesale radically simple. Our AI agents streamline the end-to-end operations of getting physical products on shelves. After two months since launch, we're already processing ~$500M in annualized wholesale order volume across some of the fastest growing consumer brands like Fishwife, Ghia, and Sanzo.
Role Description
We’re building production-grade agents that reason across messy retail systems, autonomously execute workflows, and continually learn from real-world feedback. You’ll lead end‑to‑end — from research to deployment — on capabilities that ship to customers.
What You'll Do
- Architect and ship agentic systems for ordering, freight tendering, reconciliation, and exception handling
- Build robust tool-use, retrieval, and planning loops with strong safety/guardrails
- Productionize models (fine‑tuning, distillation, evals, observability, feedback loops)
- Pair closely with customers to translate workflows into reliable automation
Qualifications
- 4 years building ML/AI products in production (startups preferred)
- Deep experience with LLMs, retrieval, function-calling, and eval frameworks
- Strong software engineering fundamentals (TypeScript/Node, Python, cloud infra)
- Knowledge of software development best practices including version control, testing, and documentation
- Proficiency in data analysis, data engineering, and database management
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Bias to ship; comfort navigating ambiguity; high ownership
