Our crews are great at roofing. I'm looking for someone who can help bridge the gap between production and customer communication while ensuring our clients have an exceptional experience throughout their project. You'll still spend time on roofs and in the field, but this isn't a position where you'll be expected to spend every day carrying bundles and swinging a hammer. About the Position
Jamison's Roofing Company is looking for an experienced Lead Roofing Technician to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level roofing position. We are looking for someone who can work independently, solve problems in the field, identify roofing issues, perform quality repairs, and help manage projects with minimal supervision.
What You'll Be Doing
- Roofing repairs and service work
- Small asphalt shingle roof installations
- Roof inspections and troubleshooting leaks (training available for the right candidate)
- Managing roof replacement projects as a Project Manager
- Occasional metal roofing repairs
- Occasional EPDM and low-slope roofing repairs
- Maintaining clean and safe job sites across all active projects
- Communicating professionally with homeowners and property owners
- Training and leading crew members when necessary [1]
What We're Looking For
- Several years of roofing experience
- Strong knowledge of residential asphalt shingle roofing systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair roofing problems independently
- Leadership experience preferred
- Comfortable working at heights and on ladders
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to represent the company professionally
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience leading roofing crews
- Experience with metal roofing systems
- Experience with EPDM roofing systems
- Basic carpentry and flashing knowledge
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers
