Our corporate office is headquartered in Mishawaka, Indiana, with a second site in Gallatin, Tennessee. Job Summary: Quality Clerk
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position will be responsible for communication of quality concerns with vendors, and those requiring credits and or remakes is crucial, while following process through completion. Will also assist with Food Safety when necessary. Will follow all company policies & procedures, department standard operating procedures and safety protocols, while exhibiting behavior that models Jamil’s core values: Do the Right Think; Team before Self; Embrace Accountability; Be a Loyal Teammate; and Stay Humble & Positive
EOS Accountability Chart Major Roles:
1. Own and Manage QC Log
2. Track/Report Quality Issues to Vendors & Requests Credits
3. Perform Quality Audits on Production Machines
4. Assists with NSF Food Audits
5. Tracks and Manages Internal/External QCAs
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
· Must possess strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
· Must have ability to establish & set priorities, with ability to adjust priorities, as deemed necessary.
· Must possess excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
· Must possess strong problem resolution/analytical skills to maintain accuracy in maintaining records of large inventory counts.
· Must be a team player, ready and willing to assist where and when needed at a moment’s notice.
· Must be able to successfully work in fast-paced environment.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Inventory management experience preferred.
· Qualityexperience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
required.
· Operating System experience preferred.
· Requires basic math & reading skills.
