Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information, including medical history and treatment plans, in electronic health record systems such as Cerner and eClinicalWorks
- Perform sterile processing techniques to ensure the cleanliness and safety of medical equipment
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist with infant and toddler care, including feeding, diapering, and monitoring developmental milestones
- Administer basic IV therapy under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Assist with specialized procedures such as spinal taps and dermal fillers
- Utilize sonography equipment for diagnostic purposes
Skills:
- Valid LPN license in the state of Michigan.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
