The Jamestown Healing Clinic is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our stellar integrated care team. This position plays an essential role in supporting primary care services for Healing Clinic patients within a collaborative outpatient setting that combines primary care, dental, behavioral health, and opiate use disorder treatment services. What You’ll Do

Support primary care services for Healing Clinic patients
-
Perform patient triage, venipuncture, EKGs, wound care, and medication administration
-
Conduct CLIA-waived testing and assist with chronic care management
-
Room patients, obtain vitals, and document patient history
-
Assist providers with clinical procedures and treatments
-
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and health maintenance
-
Coordinate continuity of care and support efficient patient flow
-
Respond to patient treatment-related calls and requests

Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic health record
-
Cross-train to assist with medication dispensing and substance use disorder treatment services

Collaborate closely with providers, medical assistants, behavioral health staff, and support teams
Required Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
-
Valid Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license

Knowledge of professional nursing practices and patient care standards

Understanding of medications and treatment approaches for chronic medical conditions and substance use disorders, including methadone and buprenorphine

Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMRs)

Strong verbal and written communication skills
-
Ability to work effectively with patients who may exhibit challenging behaviors

Knowledge of HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 confidentiality regulations

Valid Washington State Driver’s License
-
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
-
CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Ability to maintain all required vaccinations for employment
