*7a-7p Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
*7P-7am Monday/ Tuesday/Wednesday
*7a-7 Thursday/Friday/Saturday
*7p-7a Friday/Saturday/Sunday
3 - 12 hour shifts per week Set schedule. No rotating weekends.
Responsibilities: Direct care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policy and all federal, state and local regulations.
- Assuring resident safety
- Follow established performance standards perform duties according to nursing policies and procedures.
- Identify resident problems and concerns and report them immediately to charge nurse or a licensed nurse.
- Complete assignments timely, completely and accurately.
- Conduct resident rounds as assigned. Report changes in residents' conditions to Charge Nurse or Nurse supervisor.
- initiate corrective action as necessary and /or seek assistance of a licensed nurse.
- identify safety hazards and emergency situations and initiate corrective action.
- Attend all in-service classes as assigned and complete assignments.
- Assume personal responsibility for following facility procedures related to control of equipment and supplies within the work area.
- Document incidents and/or unusual problems according to established facility procedures.
- Review care plans and preform nursing care as outlined.
- Document the care and treatment provided to the resident and the resident's response or lack of response to care provided.
- Complete documentation accurately, timely and in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Assure residents have call lights at hand and answer call light promptly.
- Assure residents are given adequate assistance with personal and oral hygiene needs.
- Assure residents are given adequate assistance with meals, nourishment and transportation to meal service area.
- Observe all facility safety policies and procedures, infection control procedures, and other applicable nursing policies and procedures.
