Project Manager Structural Steel & Ornamental Iron, Jamestown Macadam, Inc.
We are seeking a driven, self-motivated Project Manager to lead structural steel and ornamental iron projects from award through closeout. This role is responsible for full project execution including safety leadership, proactive coordination, schedule performance, cost control, and successful field installation.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary project lead and central point of coordination between clients, general contractors, detailing/engineering, fabrication, and field teams.
Demonstrate strong self-starter qualities by taking ownership of project outcomes, anticipating challenges, and driving solutions without the need for constant direction.
Must be able to manage multiple fastpaced projects with minimal supervision.
Champion a strong safety culture by ensuring projects are planned and executed in compliance with company safety programs, site requirements, and industry best practices.
Manage project schedules, budgets, procurement, and change order execution to maintain profitability and meet milestones.
Review and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications to ensure scope accuracy and risk identification.
Drive submittals, RFIs, shop drawing approvals, and material releases to support fabrication and erection schedules.
Monitor project progress, maintain urgency, and implement corrective actions to protect schedule and production flow.
Support field operations with logistics planning, installation sequencing, and problem resolution.
Maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring contract compliance and overall project success
Pay rate $50,000-$100,000/year.
