Executive Chef-Deep Blue (Historic Kitty Knight House)
We are seeking an Executive Chef to join our team ASAP As part of Deep Blue, you will be preparing food and setting up stations, which contributes to our customer's satisfaction. This would be a Full-Time position with 40-50 hour per week.
Jamestown Hospitality; a young restaurant group with multiple brands and themes and plans for additional units in the near future.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team.
As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations.
You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and culinary skills while leading a team of dedicated professionals.
Responsibilities: Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities
Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and customer preferences
Collaborate with the Dietary Department to ensure compliance with dietary restrictions and special requests
Train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff
Oversee inventory control and ordering of food supplies
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Manage food costs and budget effectively
Experience:
Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a restaurant or catering setting
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu planning
Experience in managing a kitchen team and coordinating food service operations - Familiarity with inventory control procedures and cost management
