With state-of-the-art skills in materials technology, particularly relating to elastomers, polymers, composites and engineering plastics plus extensive expertise in precision machining of exotic alloys for metallic seals, and tension control fasteners for bolted joints.
Your Role
Are you an experienced Account Manager, have International experience working in the Oil and Gas industry. If so, we want you to join our team as a Global Accounts Manager. You will be a lead contact for global Oil and Gas accounts, managing and coordinating activity to drive sustainable profitable growth, provide strategic direction, maximising new business opportunities and driving new product sales. With your experience you will align a consistent standard and approach to Global Account Management across James Walker including pricing, terms and conditions and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage designated global accounts through the development and implementation of global account plans to maximise sales and capitalise on new opportunities for growth.
- Bring fresh ideas and an innovative approach to coordinating account strategy around the world, supporting the global Sales Team in the management of global customer accounts.
- Be accountable for delivering results and achieving and exceeding specified revenue and profitability targets
- Manage and develop strategic global relationships within designated accounts such as procurement and technical teams, and work closely with key stakeholders to manage and maximise account potential.
- Effectively uncover customer requirements, applying a consultative approach and a creative and positive attitude to examine customer needs and goals as well as business risks and potentials in order to reach a mutually beneficial solution.
- Confidently promote the company’s full portfolio of products and capabilities through the sales team ensuring exceptional selling skills are deployed to professionally communicate.
- Uncover new business opportunities within existing customers and capitalise on them by driving accountability via the sales teams through cross-selling, upselling and value-selling.
- Be an expert in the customer’s global market sector and understand their needs in order to prepare and submit appropriate formal business tenders and proposals.
About you
Essential Experience and Skills
- Experience of selling products in the Oil and Gas industry
- Experience of supporting the delivery of global customer accounts of significant magnitude
- Developing global commercial strategies and sales plans, and working with others to execute
- Customer focused with exceptional customer service ethos
- Solid understanding of international competitive environments
- Excellent sales techniques – especially in consultative and value selling and with highly technical products and services
- Ability to conduct complex negotiations (global LTA, contracts, T&C, etc.)
- Strong ability to manage and mitigate risks
- Ability to problem solve and make focused and considered decisions
- Ability to influence, coach, motivate and inform others and promote teamwork
- Willingness for frequent international travel
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
