Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaner/Painter to join our rental property team. We are looking for someone to help minimize turnover time after tenants move out or a new property is acquired. We need an individual who is able to clean residential units, perform small maintenance tasks, and paint/repaint units effectively and without supervision.
Duties
- Clean and declutter residential units to rent-ready standard
- Prepare surfaces for painting through cleaning, sanding, scraping, and surface repair techniques such as drywall patching and caulking
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including conventional and construction spray painting), and other hand tools with precision and consistency
- Perform structural painting tasks on various surfaces including stucco, plaster, and fixtures in residential settings
- Assist with renovation projects by handling tasks such as fixture installation, drywall finishing, trim carpentry, and general handyman duties (experience preferred, but not required)
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools and paint sprayers (including both roller and conventional spraying), and maintenance of equipment
- Ability to perform surface preparation tasks such as plastering, drywall finishing, caulking, and stucco application
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship in both painting and cleaning tasks
- Good physical condition with the ability to stand for extended periods, climb ladders safely, and perform manual labor efficiently
- Prior experience in construction site work or renovation projects is highly valued
