A Day in the Life: PART TIME Parts Specialist / Service Writer
- Greet customers, collaborate on parts needs in person, by phone, and online by asking questions to identify a solution, process the order, complete the sale
- Place machine down orders and stock orders as requested
- Process parts requests for internal and external customers
- Assists in completing customer service authorizations, identifying all repairs through communication with customer and technicians, and provide cost estimates/quotes to customers
- Complete customer service work authorizations by coordinating with service technicians, foreman, manager and parts department
Need to Succeed:
- Enjoy being customer-facing, positive attitude, willingness to learn, good communication and excellent attendance
- Attention to detail, problem solving skills, customer service skills and recent computer use with experience in dealership software and parts/inventory systems a plus
- Ability to handle high volume of customer inquiries with timely follow up and not afraid to answer the phone
