The MPS Equipment Inventory Coordinator assists the sales team in overseeing equipment logistics for the Materials Processing division of JRE. This role is responsible for supporting MPS equipment inventory tracking and maintaining efficient work flow in regards to this inventory.
Key responsibilities include:
- Setting up new machines in CDK when ordered, moving these from temporary tags to permanent tags upon arrival
- Uploading information and pictures of new machines into EMS system as well as updating the EMS system as the equipment moves and loading all MPS Aardvark inspections into EMS, filing all air permits and sending inspection reports (Aardvark, Rico App) to store locations
- Coordinating the logistics of moving equipment from one place to another, including securing freight quotes
- Communicating with JRE stores and service departments when machines are moving to/from locations, initiating service requests when needed and following up on open work orders for MPS machines
- Loading/unloading machines from rentals or port, fueling machines in the MPS yard, and tracking inspections on all machines
- Issuing purchase orders to vendors, comparing inspection reports to determine which customers should be billed for any damage, coordinating invoices in Filebound and sending proper GL codes to store locations for MPS billing
- Securing MPS equipment in inventory for sales team and sharing upcoming deals with the sales team
Qualifications currently include:
- High school graduate with customers service experience and excellent communication skills
- Computer experience, preferably in similar systems or directly with EMS, CDK or other inventory/equipment systems
- Microsoft Excel experience to ensure proper completion of weekly and monthly reports
- Ability to operate equipment when necessary for movement within yard space as well as fueling capabilities
- Ability to work as part of a group while maintaining communication across the JRE footprint with our sales teams and stores
