Please Note: This is a PART TIME opportunity.
We are seeking someone with a positive attitude who enjoys learning and can handle both equipment yard work as well as stocking, inventory and assisting our parts department.
As an Equipment Yard/Parts Associate, your more typical responsibilities will include:
• Loading and unloading/handling equipment as well as parts shipping/receiving and stocking
• Keep check in/out log with serial numbers and tag numbers for accurate inventory records
• Keep equipment stored in correct place and parked neatly on lot
• Inspect forklift before each day and keep an accurate log
• Keep daily checks on equipment fluid levels before they leave
• Make sure equipment leaves with proper attachments and manuals, and make sure equipment with leaks are parked on concrete and fluids are caught
• Communicate any problems to sales and service contacts
• Make sure customer and contractor loads and secures equipment correctly
• Inspect yard and outside of building periodically for repairs and safety issues
• Assist the parts department when needing with customer requests, inventory and other duties as assigned
Requirements include:
• Forklift certification preferred and working knowledge of equipment.
• Great communication skills and the ability to keep organized records.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion.
