Job Summary
As a Commercial HVAC Install Mechanic, you will play a key role in installing and retrofitting HVAC systems for our commercial clients. You’ll work alongside a team of professionals to deliver high-quality installations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC systems including rooftop units (5–100 tons), split systems, ductless, and VRF systems
- Perform system retrofits and replacements
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Fabricate and install sheet metal components
- Safely use, maintain, and care for tools and equipment
- Complete installations using proper methods (bolting, hanging, soldering, brazing, etc.)
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC installation experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or on a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- EPA (CFC) Certification preferred
- Trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
- Journeyman or Master license is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Willingness to work occasional overtime or extended hours as needed
