Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems
- Safely use and maintain hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment
- Carry, organize, and stage materials and equipment for installation
- Assist with installing pipe and fittings including PVC, CPVC, copper, cast iron, and steel
- Help install floor drains, roof drains, cleanouts, fixtures, and venting systems
- Support installation of potable water, sanitary, storm, and gas piping systems
- Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and hanging piping systems
- Maintain a clean and organized jobsite
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Attend training sessions and actively develop plumbing skills
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade
- Previous construction, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, or trade school experience preferred but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and dependable attendance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required
- All successful candidates must be able to pass the required background check and drug-screen.
