Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other hand tools
- Perform specialized painting tasks including drywall plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry for detailed finishes
- Execute renovation projects involving restoration of old surfaces or remodeling of interiors and exteriors
- Use power tools such as drills, sanders, and spray guns efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
- Assist with construction estimating by assessing surface areas and material needs for accurate project planning
- Conduct maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during painting operations
