We are seeking a new Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As an Assistant Superintendent you will assist in supervising craft employees assigned to a particular construction discipline work area, i.e., electrical, piping,
erection of structural steel, rebar, duct work, etc.
As a member of the Operations Department, you will work with the Project Team and report to the Superintendent.

As a member of the Operations Department, you will work with the Project Team and report to the Superintendent.
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will:
- Supervise craft workers assigned to area of responsibility, provide liaison between field engineering and crafts to ensure construction complies with drawings and specifications.
- Assist in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities and equipment requirements.
- Supervise work performance and productivity of crafts to ensure project rules, procedures, and safety requirements are maintained.
- Monitor craft work and complete craft time cards to accurately reflect hours worked.
- Advise senior level superintendents and/or project management of potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties and quality control issues; assist in circumventing/resolving such problems as required.
- Maintain liaison with owner’s representatives and other departments, for example, purchasing and engineering as required to support and maintain the construction schedule.
- Other duties and responsibilities as required.
- 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.
- Minimum 5 years construction engineering or similar experience preferably in supervisory capacity.
- Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, union agreements/jurisdiction, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings and other documents required.
- Ability to supervise and evaluate craft performance essential.
