General Information
The University Health Center (UHC) provides a comprehensive array of health care services and health education programs to JMU students. Included in our health care services are several medical clinics, a pharmacy, a medical laboratory, and other programs that provide services for more than 30,000 patient encounters a year. UHC practices evidence-based medicine in a confidential, welcoming environment.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as coordinator for clinic student volunteer program. Including using the Assessment Process for ongoing goals and outcomes
- Coordinate and administer onboarding training for all new employees and yearly training for all employees
- Serve as clinic nurse as needed in all clinical areas
Required:
- Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Virginia
- Experience with training and supervision of student volunteers
- Experience in an acute care medical setting
Conditions of Employment:
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
