General Information:

For current JMU undergraduates only. This part-time job, working approximately 15 hours per week in the advertising department at The Breeze, JMU’s student-run news organization, entails using software to create print and video ads.

Duties and Responsibilities:

create print and video ads on Mac-based systems based on ideas presented by the advertising team and clients, develop interesting and effective advertising campaigns, and proofread camera-ready and video advertisements for proper formatting prior to publication. The multimedia advertising designer will also coordinate schedules for last-minute advertisement creation and placement, and assist in marketing duties as needed.

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
